Qualifications
- Must have completed (or in the process of completing) a Massage Therapist program
- Must hold or be in the process of obtaining a license or certification.
- Must be fully licensed/certified to perform Massage Therapy prior to performing sessions at the studio.
- We love to speak with students, inexperienced, and experienced massage therapists with a wide variety of experience from private, medical massage therapy, resort spa / medical spa experience, and much more.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine individual needs and preferences.
- Provide a range of massage therapies, including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy.
- Utilize knowledge of anatomy and physiology to address specific client concerns effectively.
- Collaborate with clients to develop personalized treatment plans aimed at pain management and relaxation.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for clients.
- Uphold high standards of customer service by ensuring client satisfaction throughout their experience.
- Educate clients on the benefits of various massage techniques and self-care practices.
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in therapeutic practices.
Qualifications
- Valid massage therapy license or certification as required by state regulations.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and occupational health principles.
- Experience in patient service within a med spa or similar setting is preferred.
- Proficiency in various massage techniques, particularly deep tissue and trigger point therapy.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service.
- Ability to assess patient needs accurately and provide appropriate treatments.
- A compassionate demeanor with a genuine interest in promoting client wellness.
- Willingness to continue professional development through ongoing education and training.
