Senior Accountant

4-Horn Management LLC is seeking a capable and experienced Senior Accountant. In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for an array of tasks aimed at ensuring the company's financial statements and records are accurate and up-to-date. Expect to work closely with the company's financial team, auditors, and external agencies, as well as develop and implement effective financial strategies and systems. Responsibilities Overseeing the day-to-day transactions of the accounting department, which include payroll, accounts receivable, and accounts payable. Leading and managing the preparation of all financial statements, including income statements, balance sheet, and cash flow statements. Ensuring financial statements comply with state and federal regulations, as well as the company's policies. Developing, implementing, and maintaining financial controls and guidelines. Assisting in the formulation of the company's budget and financial forecasts. Participating in the company's financial audits and coordinating with external auditors. Assisting in tax preparation and filing processes. Qualifications A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; an MBA or relevant certification (such as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA)) is preferred. A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a senior accounting role. Sound understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Experiencing using a range of financial systems and databases. Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and leadership skills.
