Join Our Team as a Nurse Practitioner!
Location: Pyramid Healthcare, Harford Inpatient 1015 Pulaski Hwy, Joppa, MD
About Us: Pyramid Healthcare at Harford Inpatient is committed to offering comprehensive and robust treatment options to adults struggling with Substance Use Disorders. Our focus on client-centered care establishes our facility as a respected leader in addiction treatment in Joppa and the greater Maryland area. Under a passionate leadership team and dedicated support staff, we assist our clients in reclaiming their freedom.
Schedule: This role is scheduled for 24 - 30 hours of on-site care per week.
Deliverables/Principal Results Expected:
- Conduct history and physical examinations.
- Review laboratory results and monitor blood levels.
- Manage sick calls and prepare discharge documentation (physician orders, prescriptions if you have prescriptive authority).
- Provide support and resources to the adult residential program and detox as needed.
- Coordinate with the primary care physician and psychiatrist when appropriate, with assistance from nursing staff.
- Work with nursing staff to ensure medications are cost-effective for clients post-discharge and complete prior authorization requests for medications.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Education & Experience:
- Nurse Practitioner Certification required.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Addiction Medicine and/or Family Practice Medicine preferred.
