Job Description: SaaS Configuration Analyst
Job Summary
The SaaS Configuration Analyst is responsible for the configuration, maintenance, and optimization of Oracle Software as a Service (SaaS) applications, ensuring alignment with business requirements and best practices within a financial services environment. This role involves configuration activities, collaborating with stakeholders, and ensuring the integrity and efficiency of Oracle SaaS solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- System Configuration: Configure, maintain, and optimize Oracle SaaS applications, including modules such as ERP, EPM, AFCS, and DAMS.
- Template Management: Manage and utilize Oracle configuration templates to ensure consistency and efficiency.
- Environment Management: Perform environment cloning and validate data integrity and user access post-refresh.
- Access Control: Assign roles and permissions based on the principle of least privilege to ensure security.
- Compliance and Security: Maintain access audit logs and support compliance with internal security policies and standards.
- Incident Management: Escalate Identity and Access Management (IAM) or Single Sign-On (SSO) related incidents to higher levels of support when necessary.
- Collaboration Tools: Utilize JIRA, Confluence, and ServiceNow for project tracking, documentation, and service management.
- Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all system and operational procedures.
- Vendor Support: Act as a liaison with Oracle Support, including raising and managing Service Requests (SRs) to resolve issues.
Qualifications
Overall 6+ years of IT experience, The ideal candidate will have a blend of technical expertise in Oracle SaaS applications and experience with standard enterprise tools and processes.
Oracle SaaS Modules: 3 years of Experience with Oracle SaaS Modules (ERP, EPM, AFCS, DAMS), ranging from basic knowledge for junior roles to strong, in-depth knowledge for senior positions.
- Oracle Configuration Templates: Knowledge of Oracle Configuration templates, progressing from basic to strong with experience.
- Environment Management: Experience with environment cloning and post-refresh validation of access and data.
- Access Control: Ability to assign roles and permissions based on the principle of least privilege.
- Compliance & Security: Experience supporting compliance with security policies, standards, and maintaining access audit logs.
- Incident Management: Ability to escalate IAM or SSO-related incidents to higher levels (expected in senior roles).
- Collaboration Tools: Knowledge of JIRA, Confluence, and ServiceNow.
- Documentation: Proven ability to document system and operational procedures.
- Vendor Support: Experience with Oracle SR support and coordination.
