We are seeking an Assistant Men's Lacrosse Coach
JOB SUMMARY
Assist the Head Men's Lacrosse Coach with recruiting, scouting and practice planning.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist with practice and competition day management and activities for all players, work on overall team strategy with special emphasis on keepers.
Help with the planning and organization of camps and clinics as assigned.
OTHER DUTIES AND ASSIGNMENTS
Know and comply with all NCAA rules and regulations, and pass the NCAA Coaches Certification Exam annually.
Must be CPR and First Aid certified.
Provide positive leadership for student-athletes.
Performs other duties as assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education: Bachelor’s degree, master’s degree preferred.
Experience:1 to 3 years of lacrosse experience.
Licenses or Certifications: CPR and First Aid certified
Financial Responsibility: None
Supervision: None
Special Knowledge: Know and comply with all NCAA rules and regulations, and pass the NCAA Coaches Certification Exam annually.
SPECIAL WORKING CONDITIONS
Ability to travel; heavy lifting required (50 pounds and over); may be required to work when the university is closed.
Ability to work in less than ideal weather conditions
Ability to work nights, weekends, and some holidays
Please note that this role is based in Arlington, VA. Position will be open until filled.
Compensation/Total Rewards
This is a stipend position that will be paid bi-weekly. The total amount of the stipend is will be between $10,000- $15,000.
