BIM Engineer II / Senior BIM Engineer (OBD - Structure)

Job Description

Seeking a skilled Mid to Senior Technician with expertise in MicroStation and
OpenBuildings Designer (OBD) to support the delivery of building structures projects.
The role involves the development, coordination, and production of high-quality BIM
models and drawings in accordance with project requirements, industry standards, and
BIM execution plans

Your Role

• Develop and maintain 3D BIM models for building structures using OpenBuildings Designer (OBD).
• Produce accurate structural drawings, plans, sections, elevations, and details using MicroStation and OBD.
• Coordinate with structural engineers, architects, and multidisciplinary design teams to ensure model accuracy and design integration.
• Support project delivery by preparing construction documentation and model outputs in line with project milestones.
• Perform model reviews, clash detection support, and quality assurance checks to ensure compliance with project and BIM standards.
• Manage and organize BIM data, model information, and drawing deliverables.
• Assist in implementing project BIM standards, workflows, and best practices.
• Mentor junior technicians and provide technical guidance on MicroStation and OBD modelling activities.
• Participate in design coordination meetings and address technical comments from internal and external stakeholders.
• Working knowledge of other Autodesk products such as AutoCAD, Navisworks Manage/Freedom, and BIM Collaborate tools is desirable
