Job Description
As a Security Officer - Full Time in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Security Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine unarmed patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license. You will communicate professionally, respond to security-related concerns, and contribute to a caring, reliable team that acts with integrity and innovation.

- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site policies, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
- Communicate professionally with site personnel, visitors, and Allied Universal leadership while supporting a welcoming and orderly environment.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license is required.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
