In this role, you make a significant contribution to the quality of advice provided to clients, customer satisfaction, process efficiency and the sustainable credit quality of the bank’s mortgage portfolio.
What would your role be?

Advise clients on mortgage strategies, product selection, term structures and pricing.
Structure complex financing transactions in close collaboration with Relationship Managers and Credit Management.
Gatekeeper Function
Ensure that financing applications are aligned with the bank’s mortgage strategy and defined risk appetite.
Review, optimize, or return incomplete applications and submissions that do not comply with internal policies and guidelines to the Relationship Managers.
Conduct an expert pre-assessment of financing applications, including evaluating feasibility and ensuring dossier quality prior to submission to Credit Management.
Contribute to the sustainable maintenance of credit quality and support the ongoing development of the bank’s risk culture.
Analysis and Quality Assurance
Independently conduct, interpret, and validate hedonic property valuations.
Assess affordability, loan-to-value ratios, creditworthiness, and collateral quality.
Identify and analyze risks and develop appropriate mitigation strategies and financing solutions.
Prepare and perform quality assurance reviews of mortgage financing dossiers.
Ensure compliance with internal policies, credit guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
Take responsibility for the preparation and submission of clear, comprehensive, and decision-ready financing applications to Credit Management.
What are we looking for?

Completed higher education in banking, finance, or a related field (e.g., Higher Technical College, University of Applied Sciences, or University degree), or an equivalent qualification.
At least 7 years of professional experience in the Swiss mortgage and real estate financing market.
Additional qualifications in real estate financing, credit business, or risk management are advantageous.
Proven experience working with high-net-worth private clients in Switzerland and internationally, including clients with complex wealth structures.
Strong expertise in client advisory, financial analysis, and the structuring of complex mortgage financing solutions.
Hands-on experience in independently conducting and interpreting hedonic property valuations.
Comprehensive knowledge of the Swiss mortgage market, mortgage products, financing concepts, mortgage strategies, and pricing methodologies.

Knowledge of additional financing solutions, such as Lombard lending, is considered an asset.
Affinity for Artificial Intelligence (AI) and a willingness to embrace AI-enabled tools and ways of working.
Language Skills
Fluent English, French and Italian both written and spoken.
Additional language skills, such as German, or other languages, are considered an advantage.
Personal Competencies
Strong professional credibility and natural authority.
Demonstrated seniority and a highly professional presence.
Ability to communicate effectively and as a trusted peer with high-net-worth clients.
Excellent advisory, communication, and client relationship management skills.
