Responsibilities:
- Lead the technical qualification and approval of global raw materials and new sourcing options for defined material groups
- Ensure a stable supply of raw materials with consistently high quality through effective specification management and close collaboration with suppliers
- Identify, assess, and manage quality, supply, and compliance risks across the global supply chain
- Resolve technical issues and supplier complaints while developing sustainable solutions in partnership with suppliers and manufacturers
- Drive the continuous improvement and implementation of global raw material processes, standards, and best practices
- Support the development of global expertise in raw material management through coaching, training, and technical consulting for sites worldwide
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field; alternatively, a chemical-technical qualification combined with relevant professional experience
- Several years of experience in raw material management, research and development, quality assurance, or a laboratory environment
- Proven experience working with suppliers in areas such as qualification, audits, complaint management, or technical development
- Ideally, strong knowledge of quality management systems and common methodologies and standards such as FMEA, DOE, IATF 16949, and VDA guidelines
- Strong presence and the ability to confidently represent and negotiate technical matters with internal and external stakeholders
- Excellent project management, communication, and teamwork skills, combined with an analytical, structured, and process-oriented approach to work
- Fluency in written and spoken English, with the ability to collaborate effectively in an international environment
