Job Description
As a Security Officer Credential Check Patrol in Little Rock, AR, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, help to deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. Use your customer service, badge access, and computer or tablet skills to report security-related concerns and communicate clearly. - Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and guests at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of interior work areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and the business perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, observing visitor and contractor activity, and reporting unauthorized access attempts according to site-specific procedures.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate personnel as directed.
- Maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports, communicate security-related information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts, and support a professional environment for all occupants.
Minimum Requirements:
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
