As an Unarmed Security Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will support access control, respond to alarms, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and provide outstanding customer service. Pay Rate: $14.71 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, spills, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site protocols and notification procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility buildings, operational areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter boundaries to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor and control access to the location by verifying credentials, documenting visitor activity, and reporting irregularities to appropriate site contacts.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related concerns in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least six months of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Experience in a primarily driving post is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
