NeighborHealth is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Internal Medicine Physician to join our outpatient primary care team serving diverse communities throughout Greater Boston.Physicians benefit from a sustainable practice model featuring 32 clinical hours, 8 protected administrative hours, minimal call responsibilities, strong interdisciplinary support, and advanced clinical technology designed to reduce documentation burden and enhance patient care.
Physicians may also be eligible for the National Health Service Corps (NHSC) Loan Repayment Program, Massachusetts State Loan Repayment Programs, Public Service Loan Forgiveness, and other incentives available to providers practicing in Federally Qualified Health Centers.
Position Highlights
- Adult outpatient Internal Medicine practice
- 32 clinical hours per week
- 8 administrative hours for documentation, care coordination, and patient follow-up
- Minimal call requirement, typically 2-3 times annually, supported by Contact Center triage services
- EPIC EHR with robust interoperability across major Boston-area health systems and academic medical centers
- Collaborative care teams including Advanced Practice Providers, Registered Nurses, Medical Assistants, Practice Secretaries, Behavioral Health clinicians, and professional medical interpreters
- Clinical privileges available at Boston Medical Center
- On-site emergency department
- On-site behavioral health urgent care services
- On-site pharmacy, laboratory, and radiology services
- On-site specialty consultation services including Endocrinology, Rheumatology, Pulmonary Medicine, Nephrology, and Sports Medicine
- Clinical pharmacists available for co-management of patients with Type 2 Diabetes

What You’ll Bring:
Qualifications
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school
- Completion of an accredited Internal Medicine residency program
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine
- Eligible for Massachusetts medical licensure
- DEA registration
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Spanish, Arabic, and other multilingual language skills are welcomed though professional interpreter services are available

Salary Range: $231,500 - $282,197 annually, based on years of experience.
