What You'll Do
As a Finance & Insurance (F&I) Manager, you’ll play a critical role in the vehicle purchase process by helping customers secure financing, protecting their investment through available products, and ensuring full compliance with dealership, lender, and regulatory requirements. You’ll deliver a transparent, efficient, and customer-focused experience while maximizing profitability and customer satisfaction.
- Presenting Finance & Protection Products — Educating customers on financing options, vehicle service contracts, GAP coverage, maintenance plans, and other protection products tailored to their needs.
- Securing Financing — Working with lenders and financial institutions to obtain competitive financing and lease options for customers.
- Ensuring Compliance — Maintaining compliance with all federal, state, and dealership regulations while ensuring all deal documentation is complete and accurate.
- Utilizing Driveway Tools — Leveraging digital retailing technology and Driveway tools to streamline financing, product presentations, electronic contracting, and customer convenience.
- Delivering an Exceptional Customer Experience — Building trust with customers, clearly explaining financial products, and ensuring a smooth transition from vehicle purchase to delivery.
- Managing Deal Structures — Reviewing deal profitability, lender approvals, stipulations, and funding requirements while collaborating with sales and management teams.
- Building Lender Relationships — Maintaining strong partnerships with financial institutions and staying informed on lender programs, incentives, and market trends.
- Achieving Performance Goals — Meeting dealership benchmarks for product penetration, profitability, compliance, and customer satisfaction.
- Supporting Store Operations — Participating in training, maintaining accurate records, and supporting dealership initiatives during high-volume periods.
What You'll Bring
- Minimum 2–3 years of automotive F&I experience preferred; proven success in automotive finance, lending, or dealership management roles highly desired.
- Strong knowledge of automotive financing and compliance regulations, including lender requirements, menu selling, and dealership processes.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and explain complex financial concepts clearly.
- Results-driven and self-motivated, with a demonstrated ability to achieve performance and profitability goals.
- Experience with dealership management systems (CDK experience a plus) and digital retailing platforms such as Driveway.
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record in your state of residence.
- A professional demeanor, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering an outstanding customer experience.
