Site Scheduler (12-Month Fixed-Term Contract)
We are seeking an experienced Site Scheduler to join our Supply Chain team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This role is critical in ensuring the effective planning and scheduling of site operations, aligning customer demand with manufacturing capacity, material availability, maintenance activities, validation requirements, and new product introductions.
The successful candidate will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, a solid understanding of SAP ECC, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to drive operational excellence and customer service performance.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, maintain, and optimise detailed production schedules using SAP ECC to meet customer demand while balancing operational requirements, including maintenance activities, validation programmes, trials, artwork changes, and new product introductions (NPIs).
Create and manage site production plans to ensure the availability of materials and components, while supporting the timely delivery of finished goods to internal and external customers.
Lead Master Production Schedule (MPS) meetings and provide scheduling priorities across Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, Technical Services, and other key functions.
Monitor production performance against plan, identifying potential risks and implementing corrective actions to maintain service levels and schedule adherence.
Collaborate closely with operational teams to ensure products are manufactured and released in line with agreed schedules and customer requirements.
Maintain and continuously improve planning master data and scheduling parameters within SAP ECC to support effective planning and system accuracy.
Support inventory optimisation initiatives, including the management of slow-moving and obsolete inventory (SLOBs), helping to minimise write-off risks and improve stock health.
Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance scheduling processes, challenge inefficiencies, and implement best practices.
Evaluate and support SAP system enhancements to maximise planning and scheduling capabilities.
Ensure compliance with site quality standards, safety procedures, and global operating requirements.
Support the development, maintenance, and periodic review of relevant Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Identify scheduling constraints and operational bottlenecks, working collaboratively with stakeholders to develop and implement practical solutions.
Skills & Experience
Essential
- Previous experience in a production planning, scheduling, or supply chain planning role within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong working knowledge of SAP ECC planning and scheduling modules.
- Excellent analytical and data interpretation skills.
- Strong problem-solving capabilities with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally and influence decision-making.
- High level of attention to detail and organisational skills.
Desirable
- Experience within the pharmaceutical, consumer healthcare, medical device, or other highly regulated manufacturing environments.
- Exposure to Master Production Scheduling (MPS) processes.
- Experience supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
EUR 37,936.00 - EUR 52,162.00 The salary range for this position is indicative and provided as a guide. The final offer may vary depending on factors including relevant experience, skills, qualifications, and internal equity considerations. Salary ranges may vary by location in line with local market conditions and applicable pay transparency regulations. Compensation information is shared for the primary location of this role.
