Customer Service Representative (Recall Support)

Location: Ringwood, Hampshire or London (Hybrid / Home Working Available)
Job Type: Temporary
Salary: £12.80 per hour (increasing to £15.35 per hour after 10.00pm)
Hours: 42.5 hours per week
Monday to Friday: 3.00pm – 12.00am (BST) (Hours may be subject to change)

We are recruiting for 9 Temporary Customer Service Representatives to join a dedicated customer support team assisting with a major product recall project.

This is a non-sales role, offering an excellent opportunity for individuals with strong customer service and communication skills to support customers and trade partners through an important recall programme. Due to the late finish, the role is likely to be predominantly home-based following initial training.

The Role

As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for managing both inbound and outbound calls, ensuring customers and business contacts receive clear, accurate and professional support throughout the recall process.

Your duties will include:

• Making outbound calls to businesses to advise them of the recall process.
• Handling inbound customer and trade enquiries relating to the recall.
• Explaining the recall process clearly and professionally.
• Collecting and updating customer and contact information accurately.
• Recording information on internal systems.
• Liaising with repair centres, dealerships and other business contacts where required.
• Ensuring all calls and records are completed accurately and efficiently.
• Delivering a high standard of customer service throughout every interaction.

The Ideal Candidate

We're looking for someone who has:

• Previous customer service or contact centre experience.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• A confident and professional telephone manner.
• Strong listening skills and attention to detail.
• Good IT skills and the ability to accurately input information.
• A positive, patient and empathetic approach.
• The ability to work independently whilst also contributing as part of a team.
• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage a busy workload.
