JOB DESCRIPTION

POSITION SUMMARY: Assistant Hourly Trainer L004 - Goodlettsville Case Ready Plant

Schedule/Hours: Monday-Friday 6pm-2:30am

Pay: $24.00/HR

The Assistant Human Resources Trainer (AHT) is responsible for making sure new team members are properly trained and supported during onboarding. This role works closely with trainers and supervisors to ensure employees learn production processes, safety practices, and quality standards. The AHT serves as a key link between team members, operations, and Human Resources.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Support onboarding and training of new team members to ensure a smooth start
  • Work alongside on-the-job trainers and assigned buddies to guide employees through daily tasks and production processes
  • Ensure all team members understand and follow safety, food safety, and quality expectations
  • Maintain daily communication with new hires during their qualification period to track progress and provide support
  • Communicate regularly with management, operations, and Human Resources regarding new hire performance and development
  • Follow up on any safety, food safety, or workplace concerns raised by team members and ensure they are addressed
  • Act as a liaison between operations, the training department, and Human Resources to keep information flowing clearly
  • Track training progress and complete accurate data entry in required systems

Skills:

  • Strong communication and people skills
  • Must be able and willing to get forklift certification
  • Ability to train, coach, and support others
  • Attention to detail, especially with tracking and documentation
  • Basic computer skills for entering and maintaining training records
  • Knowledge of safety and quality standards in a production environment preferred
