Job Description
As a Security Officer Patrol Driver Harbor Patrol in Dana Point, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will drive assigned patrol routes, monitor activity, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will engage with tenants, visitors, and staff while providing exceptional customer service and clear communication. - Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and members of the public while carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the commercial harbor location.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, parking areas, waterfront walkways, common areas, and the property perimeter to help identify unusual activity and property concerns.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and request assistance from emergency personnel when appropriate.
- Monitor access points and restricted areas, address unauthorized activity in accordance with post orders, and help to deter trespassing, theft, and property damage.
- Document patrol activity, incidents, maintenance concerns, and security-related observations through clear and accurate reports.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- A guard card/license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
