Overview
If you enjoy phlebotomy and providing exceptional patient care, this is a unique opportunity to put your skills to work in a high-volume clinical setting. This position is based in our Pediatrics department and supports patients across Pediatrics, Urology, OB/GYN, and General Surgery.
Your primary responsibility will be performing laboratory specimen collections, ensuring patients have a positive experience while receiving safe, accurate, and efficient care. During slower periods in the lab, you'll assist providers and the care team with traditional Clinic Technician duties, making this a well-rounded role with a variety of responsibilities throughout the day.
We're looking for someone who is confident with phlebotomy, enjoys working with patients of all ages, and thrives in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
Phlebotomy certification required
Pay & Benefits:
- Compensation: $20 - $26.75 based on education and experience

- Shifts Available:- Full-time, 40 hours per week, 5x8 hour shifts
This position is responsible for the collection and receipt of biological specimens, proper entry into the computer system, preparation of samples for analytical testing, and/or distribution of these specimens to the proper analytical area. This includes responsibility for pre and post aspects of analytical testing. This position will also perform specified analytical testing as assigned. This position may perform duties associated with blood donor registration services.

Performs all functions according to established policies, procedures, regulatory and accreditation requirements, as well as applicable professional standards. Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED or equivalent working knowledge.
- Phlebotomy certification is required upon hire. BLS certification is required.
- Must be able to communicate effectively in both oral and written formats. May be required to possess a valid driver’s license and be eligible for coverage under the company auto insurance policy.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Additional related education, certifications and/or experience preferred.
- Previous specimen processing and send out experience preferred.
