M23 - Project Manager

Overview

You will lead planning, ensure compliance with digital standards, facilitate governance reviews, and work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to embed governance throughout the project lifecycle. This role requires strong project management, stakeholder engagement, and governance expertise to ensure successful and compliant digital delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of digital governance frameworks, policies, standards, templates, and playbooks.
• Streamline governance processes to improve consistency, efficiency, and adoption across digital products and projects.
• Partner with product teams, project managers, engineers, architects, security teams, and business stakeholders to integrate governance throughout the SDLC.
• Provide governance advisory and ensure digital initiatives align with organisational standards, policies, and best practices.
• Drive compliance with digital governance frameworks and regulatory requirements, including identifying compliance gaps and tracking remediation activities.
• Review solution designs, technical documentation, and project deliverables to ensure alignment with governance and enterprise architecture standards.
• Plan, coordinate, and facilitate governance reviews, project checkpoints, and Go-Live Readiness assessments.
• Monitor project governance risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Prepare governance dashboards, project status reports, and management updates for stakeholders and leadership.
• Promote governance awareness and capability development across project and delivery teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in project management, digital governance, technology delivery, or ICT governance.
• Proven experience managing ICT projects or governance initiatives across the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Strong understanding of Agile delivery methodologies, governance frameworks, compliance, audit, and operational readiness processes.
• Knowledge of enterprise architecture, cloud technologies, system integration, user experience principles, and risk management practices.
• Ability to review technical documentation, solution designs, and project deliverables from a governance and compliance perspective.
• Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders, including business users, engineers, architects, security teams, and vendors.
• Strong analytical, organisational, stakeholder management, facilitation, and communication skills.
• Experience using collaboration and project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Teams, and SharePoint.
• Familiarity with front-end technologies such as React, Angular, or Foundation 6 is an advantage.
• Professional certifications such as PMP, CITPM, TOGAF, ITIL, or equivalent are advantageous.
• Experience in cloud platforms, digital transformation, or user experience initiatives is an advantage.
