Cafeteria Attendant

Overview

The primary purpose of the Cafeteria Attendant is to clean, stock and ensure the cafeteria and associate smoke area is tidy, neat and clean.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop & dust all tables, floor & counter tops.
• Ensure the work area is tidy, neat, and clean.
• Ensure all associates are being provided with superior customer service.
• A passion for excellent service and the organization’s vision.
• Make Coffee, maintain the stock of all items necessary to maintain associate smoke room and the cafeteria.
• To look out for the safety of yourself, co-workers and to follow all Health and Safety requirements in the workplace.
• Clean machines including fridges weekly.
• Stock and remove plates, cup & utensils.
• To look out for the safety of yourself, co-workers and to follow all Health and Safety requirements in the workplace.
• All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, but not necessary.
• Must be able to stand/walk for 8 hours/day.
• Must be able to lift/carry up to 30 lbs.

The Schedule for this position may vary and would require the ability to work shift work, late nights, weekends, and holidays.
