Key Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of requirements analysis, technical design, development, testing, and deployment of integration services.
•  Manage end-to-end delivery life cycle including production readiness, monitoring, and support.
• Ensure that features and services delivered by the team meet performance, reliability, and security expectations.
• Design and develop Admin platform features using Spring Boot, REST APIs, and microservices.
• Contribute to architectural discussions and ensure solutions follow best practices for scalability and maintainabilit
• Collaborate with product, security, and engineering teams to deliver seamless, secure experiences
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and industry standards for financial services
• Provide technical leadership, mentor engineers, and drive best practices in secure identity management

Requirements

Experience:

• 10+ years in the technology industry, software engineering experience with strong expertise in Java Spring or equivalent backend technologies focusing on platforms, APIs.
• 3+ years in technical leadership, working with cross-functional teams (engineering, product, design etc.).
• Experience designing and implementing Micro-service architecture.
• Deep experience designing scalable, distributed systems with high availability and performance 
• Experience articulating NFRs and architecting the solution to meet them in conjunction with business/product and engineering teams

Technical Skills:

• Java, Spring and Cloud development experience .
• Deep knowledge of API design principles (REST, GraphQL, gRPC)
• Familiarity with UI design systems and UI frameworks ex: React Js or Nest Js
• Experience with CI/CD, DevOps tools, or API lifecycle management (e.g., Postman, Apigee).
• Proficient in web technologies (JavaScript, TypeScript, Node, Python, etc.).
• Familiar with cloud infrastructure (GCP, AWS, Azure).

Communication:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for both internal and external communications.
• Ability to promote developer tools and act as a bridge between Candescent and developer communities.
• Experience with community-building, hackathons, and developer outreach programs is a plus.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field (required).
• Master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field (optional).
