[PUB-WSP] Engineer / Senior / Lead Engineer (Instrumentation, Control and Automation)

[What the role is]

As an Engineer / Senior / Lead Engineer (Instrumentation, Control and Automation), you will support the operation, maintenance, upgrading and implementation of ICA systems for water treatment facilities.

You will be considered for deployment at Environment Building or at one of the installations.

[What you will be working on]

Your responsibilities may include, but are not limited to the following:

• Lead, plan and implement maintenance activities for Instrument, Control and Automation (ICA) equipment to ensure their reliability in supporting operational requirements
• Support or implement analyser, instrumentation, SCADA, PLC, control system, smart technology and automation projects
• Manage ICA assets, spares, lifecycle replacement needs and related maintenance contracts
• Attend to troubleshooting and breakdown maintenance for ICA systems, including after-office-hour support where operationally required
• Support OT cybersecurity compliance for ICA and control systems, including audits, vulnerability rectification and cybersecurity requirements for new projects or system upgrades
• Plan, prepare and call quotations and tenders for ICA maintenance, replacement, upgrading and improvement works
• Keep abreast of new technologies and industry best practices to improve reliability, maintainability, productivity and operational efficiency
• Work closely with internal departments, plant operations teams, consultants, contractors, vendors and relevant stakeholders to execute maintenance, projects and improvement initiatives

[What we are looking for]

• Degree in Engineering, preferably in Electrical, Electronic, Computer, Instrumentation & Control, Automation, or a related engineering discipline

• Candidates with relevant working experience may be considered for senior positions

• Good verbal and written communication skills

• Self-motivated and driven and able to work independently as well as in a team

• Knowledge or experience in instrumentation, analysers, SCADA, PLC, automation, control systems or OT cybersecurity will be an advantage

• Exposure to Programming language such as Python, SCADA platforms such as Ignition, Siemens or ABB; PLC systems such as Schneider, Siemens, Mitsubishi or ABB; or cybersecurity knowledge/certifications such as CompTIA, CISSP or equivalent will be an added advantage
