Lead Animator

Job Requirements

• Have excellent sense of Timing and Spacing.
• Have great spirit of observation of movements and behaviours.
• Great Drawing Skills.
• Great Concept/Storyboard Skills with a good eye for colour and composition.
• Have a deep understanding of character animation.
• Collaborate with your and other teams to produce innovative, Character Animations, FX Animations, Game Trailers, Adverts and Effects for Games.
• Have a good understanding of Illustration and Graphic Design.
• Have a good understanding of the spine tool.
• Be able to adhere to follow existing styles and brand guidelines.
• Creating, maintaining and updating assets and images for games on all ventures and platforms.  Have an in depth understanding of exporting and optimizing assets for use.
• Ensure timely deliveries with agreed quality of all the tasks undertaken by the team.
• Work with Management to accomplish business goals.

 

2d Animator Responsibilities

• Create outstanding work that answers the brief. Explore creative concepts fully and offer multiple executions before realising final ideas.
• Have excellent attention to detail and always maintain high quality work.
• Proactively communicate with team members and people across the business, to ensure requirements are understood and progress or projects are clear.
• Organize your work, files, documents etc in a way that ensures easy use by co-workers.
• Continue to develop a strong technical understanding of your discipline and Flash, Photoshop, Illustrator and Spine.
• Learn and understand the technical possibilities and constraints of the context of which your work will be used.
• Follow the set Superslick asset pipeline and find the best way to optimise your assets for a specific game. 
• Have a clear understanding of the multi-platform online world and stay up to date with new advances.
• Present your work and ideas ready for comment and review.
• Manage time effectively, prioritizing tasks and dedicating the appropriate amount of time to each. 
• Innovate and inspire, be passionate about everything you do!
• work collaboratively with Global team/studio Leads for status updates, guidance and working as one team to deliver defined goals.
• Participation in after business hours calls as per business need.

 

Qualifications

• Minimum 4+ years’ experience in 2D animation work.
• Adobe Creative Suite
• Spine (EsotericSoftware)
• Photoshop / Illustrator
