Description
Inside Sales Associate:
- Discovery conversations with existing customers and prospective customers to identify products and services that Master Halco can provide to grow their business.
- Calling the current customers by phone to generate orders for delivery on scheduled delivery routes and to inform customers of specials and sales promotions.
- Work as a team with other sales and operations people to hit sales goals and earn bonuses and spiffs.
- Excellence with phone sales, computer entry, and customer-facing engagement.
Desired sales experience or applicable product knowledge:
- Building materials: metals, woods, plastics, hardware.
- Do-It-Yourself retail.
- Construction.
- Mechanical/Electrical.

- Competitive pay range of $24.95 to $29.50 per hour (based on experience)

Responsibilities:
- Partner with the outside sales team to expand products and customer base.
- Collects market intelligence from customers regarding competitive situations, competitor pricing, market situations, and informs the Branch Manager.
- Take inbound phone calls and emails from contractors and retail customers to process quotes and orders in a timely manner.
- Consult with clients/customers after sales to provide ongoing support.
- Prepares job order quotations based on customer requests and information.
- Communicate by phone or email with customers from the time of order to the time of shipment.
Qualifications:
- High School graduate or equivalent work experience.
- 1-3 years of customer service/sales experience.
- Excellent phone and customer-facing experience.
- Strong communication skills (verbal & written).
- Computer literate and proficient in MS applications (EXCEL required).
