Job Description

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Team in NASHVILLE, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal at a high-profile commercial real estate location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout the property, including lobbies, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Monitor access points and activity throughout the location, assisting with visitor directions, tenant questions, and reporting maintenance or security-related issues that may impact daily operations.
• Support property operations during routine business hours, after-hours activity, and/or special events by following post orders, observing site conditions, and communicating changes in a timely manner.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Be able to provide proof of high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
