Accounts Payable Officer

Job

We're looking for an ambitious, detail-driven Accounts Payable Officer to join Simpro's global finance team. This is more than invoice processing, you'll own the end-to-end AP function across multiple international entities, play a key role in month-end close, and work alongside stakeholders across time zones as part of a genuinely global operation. What You’ll Do

• Own end-to-end Accounts Payable across multiple global entities

• Process supplier invoices with accuracy and speed

• Prepare and execute supplier payment runs

• Administer corporate credit cards and employee expense claims

• Build and maintain strong financial controls and vendor relationships

• Contribute to month-end close

• Manage foreign currency transactions and support global finance processes

• Collaborate directly with overseas stakeholders across different time zones

• Provide reporting and general administrative support as needed

What You’ll Bring

• Solid grounding in basic accounting principles, with real ambition to grow into an expert
• Working knowledge of business, bookkeeping, accounts, and payroll
• Good general sales and local tax knowledge
• An analytical mindset with strong reporting skills
• The ability to summarize and communicate information clearly and confidently
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, handling complex and sensitive information under tight timeframes
• Excellent time management, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and shifting schedules
• Experience with business systems (e.g. G-Suite, Microsoft, Salesforce, Sage/Intacct)
