Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Application Support Engineer to provide application support for enterprise systems including DCE, CLIP, CEDAR, and CLEAR. The ideal candidate should have strong experience supporting .NET applications, troubleshooting production issues, and ensuring application stability in a production environment.

Candidates currently based in Malaysia are preferred. Candidates from India who are in the process of relocating to Malaysia are also encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide Level 2/Level 3 application support for enterprise applications.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve production incidents within agreed SLAs.
  • Perform root cause analysis and implement permanent fixes for recurring issues.
  • Support application deployments, releases, and system maintenance activities.
  • Work closely with development, infrastructure, database, and business teams to resolve application-related issues.
  • Analyze application logs, database queries, and system performance to identify problems.
  • Prepare incident reports, operational documentation, and knowledge base articles.
  • Participate in on-call support and production support activities when required.
  • Ensure system availability, reliability, and performance.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
  • Strong experience in Application Support within enterprise environments.
  • Advanced proficiency in .NET / C#.
  • Experience supporting production applications and resolving technical incidents.
  • Knowledge of SQL Server and writing SQL queries for troubleshooting.
  • Experience working with Windows Server environments.
  • Familiarity with incident management and ITIL processes.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience supporting banking or financial services applications.
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools.
  • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
  • Knowledge of IIS, APIs, and web services.
