Heartline Staffing, in partnership with Purple Cow Recruiting, is hiring a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor II (LADC II) for Lowell Community Health Center in Lowell, Massachusetts.
POSITION OVERVIEW
- Provide outpatient substance use counseling and behavioral health services for adults within an integrated community health setting.
- Conduct comprehensive substance use assessments, individual counseling, treatment planning, and ongoing care coordination.
- Treat patients experiencing substance use disorders and co-occurring behavioral health conditions using evidence-based practices.
- Collaborate closely with primary care providers, behavioral health clinicians, psychiatric providers, and case management teams.
- Maintain a structured outpatient caseload of up to 28 patient visits per week with dedicated administrative time built into the schedule.
- Complete timely documentation utilizing the organization's electronic medical record system.

- Annual salary of $86,361.60.

Requirements
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Active Massachusetts Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor II (LADC II) license.
- Experience providing outpatient substance use disorder counseling.
- Knowledge of co-occurring behavioral health and substance use disorders.
- Ability to complete assessments, treatment planning, and clinical documentation.
- Excellent communication and interdisciplinary collaboration skills.
- Commitment to patient-centered, trauma-informed care.
