Description
A Mining house based in Central Africa is looking for an experienced Mine Overseer who is has a interest in moving into a Senior Technical Trainer role
Duties:
Establish and maintain underground training centres, including best practise sections, underground lecture rooms, etc and to supervise all underground training delivery and operations within the underground training centres, including competence training and assessment, generic risk management and underground workplace related safety training
Qualifications/Requirements:
- 15–20+ years of experience in a trackless/mechanised mining environment
- Mine Overseer's Certificate of Competence.
- Blasting Certificate
- A minimum of 15–20 years' experience in a trackless/mechanised mining environment
- Must have extensive hands-on experience operating and supervising trackless drilling machinery such as Drill jumbos and long hole drill rigs
- Genuine interest in training and developing others
