Warehouse Operative

Responsibilities

Position Summary:  

To assist in the overall sortation, picking and despatch of customers’ orders

 

Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to: 

• Pick and pack orders as instructed through WMOS
• Load vehicles adhering to company procedures
• Work efficiently and effectively as part of a team
• Keep work area clean and tidy
• Maintain high levels of Health and Safety standards
• Achieve the targets and job standards set out by MBIE
• Be communicative between team leaders and management
• Be adaptable and flexible in your approach to work
• Perform any reasonable request from Management
• Check in and store all items correctly and securely to avoid damage and any QA issues
• Goods In - Receipt of palletised and containerised goods
• Bun tray sortation

Qualifications

Required Skills and Experience:  

• Experience working in a physically demanding FMCG environment
• Experience of MHE operation within date reach or counterbalance license
• Ability to be flexible and adapt to changes to meet the demands placed on PCC by our customers
• Calm under pressure
• Strong H&S awareness
• Innovative, forward thinking, able to think ‘outside the box’ and generate new opportunities for improvement
• A team player
