Overview
As a Physical Therapist I at Franciscan Health Dyer Campus, you'll provide evaluation and treatment of patients within legal and professional guidelines, and hospital and departmental policies and procedures. This PRN position offers weekend and holiday differentials, 1:1 therapist/patient focused care, and mentorship opportunities. You'll evaluate and implement plans of care to improve, restore and enhance physical functional performance, and promote injury prevention. Responsibilities include documentation, quality improvement, and instructing Physical Therapist Assistants and Rehab Technicians as assigned. Requires a minimum of Bachelor of Science Degree from an accredited program, valid license or temporary permit, and ability to work in team environment. Both experienced and new graduate Physical Therapists are eligible.
Description
The Physical Therapist I is responsible for providing evaluation and treatment of the patient within the parameters of legal and professional guidelines, and hospital and departmental policies and procedures. The Physical Therapist instructs and directs Physical Therapist Assistants and Rehab Technicians as assigned. This position evaluates and implements the plan of care to improve, restore and enhance physical functional performance, and promote injury prevention. The Physical Therapist performs documentation and quality improvement, as outlined in departmental policies and procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of Bachelor of Science Degree from an accredited program is required
- Must have a valid license or temporary permit for the applicable state
- Experienced and new graduate Physical Therapist eligible
- Adapt and respond quickly to changing priorities
- Ability and willingness to work in team environment
