Description
Essential Responsibilities
- Perform carpentry punch work to complete project closeout items and quality corrections.
- Install, repair, maintain, and relocate temporary barricades as required to ensure site safety and compliance.
- Execute miscellaneous carpentry tasks including framing repairs, trim work, hardware installation, and general construction support.
- Read and interpret work orders, project plans, and supervisor instructions.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.
- Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards and project specifications are met.
- Coordinate effectively with site supervisors, subcontractors, and project personnel.
- Follow all OSHA regulations and company safety procedures.
Required Qualifications
- OSHA 10 Certification (required).
- Minimum of 3 years of commercial or industrial carpentry experience preferred.
- Experience performing punch list and finish carpentry work.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Tools Required
Candidates must provide and maintain their own standard carpentry tools, including but not limited to:
- Hammer
- Tape measure
- Utility knife
- Speed square
- Chalk line
- Pry bar
- Hand saws
- Levels
- Drill/driver and bits
- Tool belt and basic hand tools necessary to perform carpentry punch work
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, climbing, and reaching.
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to safely navigate active construction sites.
