Key Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care within the Corrections - County Jail setting, ensuring the health and well-being of all inmates.
- Assess and monitor inmate's medical conditions, administer medications, and assist in emergency medical situations.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans for each inmate.
- Document all nursing interventions and maintain accurate medical records in accordance with facility policies.
- Adhere to strict security protocols and maintain confidentiality of inmate information at all times.
Qualifications:
- Current RN license in the state of Florida.
- Prior experience in a Corrections - County Jail or similar setting is preferred.
- BLS certification and strong clinical assessment skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle stressful situations with professionalism.
