The role is expected to take ownership of defined governance and transformation workstreams, coordinate cross-functional and regional stakeholders, and provide constructive challenge where requirements or standards are not being met. Success requires the ability to operate independently in a fast-evolving and often ambiguous environment, translate strategic priorities into practical actions, and identify opportunities to improve, standardize, and digitalize FP&A processes.
This role is open to hybrid or home working.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead the implementation and ongoing maintenance of selected FP&A governance frameworks, policies, and procedures.
- Oversee adherence to Group planning, forecasting, and reporting requirements, proactively identifying and escalating gaps.
- Coordinate compliance with corporate finance calendars, deadlines, submission standards, and governance expectations.
- Own and maintain FP&A process maps, RACI matrices, governance documentation, and operating procedures for assigned processes.
- Identify, assess, and prioritize opportunities for process standardization, automation, and simplification.
- Lead or coordinate defined FP&A transformation and digitalization initiatives from design through implementation and adoption.
- Develop and coordinate communications, training materials, workshops, and stakeholder engagement activities.
- Manage project plans, milestones, actions, risks, dependencies, and deliverables, ensuring timely follow-up and escalation.
- Support post-acquisition integration and process harmonization activities, coordinating inputs across relevant stakeholders.
- Act as a key FP&A point of contact between Group FP&A and regional and local teams, promoting alignment and consistent ways of working.
- Lead the resolution of complex reporting, process, and governance issues, involving relevant stakeholders as required.
- Provide guidance and constructive challenge on FP&A processes, deadlines, controls, and governance expectations.
- Prepare analysis, recommendations, and governance-related reporting for senior stakeholders and decision-making forums.
Key Skills & Experience
- Hands-on, proactive approach with the ability to work independently and take ownership.
- Strong attention to detail, data accuracy, and quality of execution.
- Strong organizational, coordination, and project delivery skills across multiple priorities.
- Strong stakeholder management, influencing, and communication skills within international organizations.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex issues into clear actions and recommendations.
- Ability to operate effectively in dynamic and fast-changing environments with limited structure or guidance.
- Strong understanding of international matrix organizations and cross-functional ways of working.
- Experience in process improvement, standardization, governance, or finance transformation.
- Knowledge of Power BI or other data visualization tools is desirable.
Essential Requirements
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency in other Microsoft 365 applications.
- Strong understanding of financial controls, governance principles, and FP&A processes.
Desirable
- Formal project management, continuous improvement, or change management training.
- Experience with OneStream, SAP, Hyperion, Anaplan, or similar enterprise performance management tools would be preferred.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related discipline.
- A relevant professional qualification, or progress towards one, such as ACCA, CIMA, or CFA, would be desirable.
- Proven relevant experience in FP&A, Controlling, Reporting, Audit, Business Analysis, Project Management, Finance Transformation, or a related field.
