- Present and debate due diligence analyses and recommendations as a member of the Investment Due Diligence Committee
- Support platform needs by working with senior investment management to identify product gaps and assess new products and initiatives
- Contribute to the enhancement of Orion’s proprietary due diligence framework, including processes, policies, and governance standards
- Provide portfolio management and analytical support for discretionary portfolios and other lines of business, including retirement services and 529 plans
- Serve as a resource to internal and external stakeholders by communicating manager analysis and due diligence recommendations to the sales team, financial advisors, and clients
- Contribute to marketing and educational materials that showcase Orion’s due diligence capabilities
- Mentor and guide Investment Analysts to support their development
- Take an active role in cross-functional initiatives and research projects across the investment team and broader wealth management organization
- Maintain current knowledge of economic and financial market conditions

- Demonstrates strong knowledge of capital markets, asset allocation, manager selection, and the asset management industry
- Has experience with research platforms such as Morningstar Direct, FactSet, and eVestment; experience with private market data providers such as Preqin or PitchBook is a plus
- Is an effective communicator with strong analytical and writing skills and experience presenting to committees, senior leadership, and external investment managers
- Builds strong stakeholder relationships and collaborates effectively across all levels of the organization
- Works effectively both independently and within a team, manages multiple priorities with careful attention to detail, and meets deadlines with a sense of urgency
