WHAT YOU’LL DO:

Technical Leadership

    • Direct, supervise, and mentor team members to support the growth of staff.

    • Manage the development of work plans, identifying staffing needs and training requirements.
    • Lead project execution for successful delivery and client satisfaction, including financial management, resource management, change order management, and client invoicing.
    • Provide leadership to multi-disciplinary project teams, including subconsultants, for simultaneous projects of varying complexities.
    • Guide the team to establish consistency and quality assurance processes in the production of all deliverables and manage the quality control of all submission materials.

Business Development

    • Work with the Water Sector Manager to develop and execute a regional strategic plan.
    • Build and maintain key relationships with clients (municipal agencies as well as industrial clients) and industry organizations to pursue opportunities and grow the business.
    • Promote technical practices, innovation sharing and knowledge management.
    • Participate in business development and identify and follow through on strategic opportunities.
    • Lead marketing initiatives and pursuits, serving as champion for wastewater opportunities.

WHAT YOU BRING:

    • In-depth knowledge of industry best practices and standards.
    • Strong communication, interpersonal, and technical writing skills with attention to detail.
    • Self-starter with technical and entrepreneurial competencies to expand client relationships and establish new ones.
    • Demonstrated success in leading and motivating technical teams with a professional and results-driven approach.
    • Education: Bachelor of Science degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or commensurate Engineering degree.
    • Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience, with 4 years in project and/or program management roles; design of wastewater linear infrastructure and facilities or similar complex infrastructure and systems, as well as business development experience.
