All About The Role (Brief introduction of the role)

Work closely with Product sourcing, Quality, Design, OEM supplier and other relevant departments to give technical support to project manager and cover role of Project leader on OEM/ODM projects and provide technical support for the maintenance of current products, which are cover cooker hood, gas hob, MWO, Oven, FSC, BBQ and Induction.

What You’ll Do (Main responsibilities)

Follow up OEM product development process, provide technical support to project manager or cover project leader role on OEM projects

• Work closely with supplier and industrial designer to create and update R&D design and prepare prototype according to product spec;

• Arrange related tests and make technical feasibility report, update it at every PD process CP points;

• Verify BOMs of ODM products and inquire supplier for all components based on R&D design;

• Following up OEM&ODM trial run & pilot run samples, create and update testing plan according to sample status inspection result, fix all issues found during testing together with suppliers;

• Make DFMEA& PSRA reports together with all project members based on samples inspection, feedback to supplier and provide technical suggestion, following up improving status and update both reports;

• Inspect all literature drawings especially technical clauses on labels, UMs prepared by supplier, feedback to project members and make sure all declaration keep align with products.

l  Sometimes support on other products such as MWO, Oven, FSC and induction, etc is required.

l  When covering role of Project Leader, take care of the execution of the Deliverables according to different phases of Project Development.

Qualification:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related, college degree is acceptable if candidate is very outstanding ;

• 5 year experience on project management and product development at least;

• Good mechanical design ability and skilled in AutoCAD or PROE or CATIA etc (nice to have);

• Fluent in both spoken and written English can be as priority;

• Good understanding on CCC, CB, SAA certification can be priority;

• Good understanding on CB, IEC home appliance standard can be priority;

• Teamwork orientation, good communication and organization ability;

• Basic knowledge in electrical safety ;

• Willing to travel ;

• Language: Mandarin,English.

Core Competencies:

l  Good understanding on New Product Development Process;

l  Basic knowledge of approval rules in different countries;

l  Teamwork orientation, good communication and organization ability;

l  Basic knowledge in gas or electrical safety;

l  Have rich design experience of home appliance and familiar to the material performance of metal and nonmetal.

Location:

You will be based at the Shunde Office.
