Job Description & Summary
Are you passionate about helping organizations transform the way they manage reporting and governance? Do you enjoy combining business, reporting and technology expertise to deliver real impact?
Demand for Workiva-based solutions continues to grow across financial reporting, sustainability reporting, internal controls and regulatory compliance. In our Digital Transformation team, we work on complex transformation projects where regulatory requirements, financial reporting, sustainability reporting and changes in the technology landscape play a crucial role. We help clients modernize their reporting processes, strengthen governance and controls, and build finance and reporting functions that are ready for growth, regulation and new technology.
This is what you'll do
You will be part of an inclusive, multidisciplinary team, working alongside finance leaders, reporting specialists, technology teams and alliance partners to deliver solutions that work in practice.
As a Senior Consultant Workiva, you play a key role in client engagements focused on Workiva and related reporting technologies. You work closely with finance, reporting, sustainability and technology stakeholders to design and implement solutions that improve reporting quality, efficiency and control. You build trusted client relationships and act as a subject matter expert throughout project delivery. You combine reporting knowledge, technology expertise and consulting skills to help clients transform their reporting capabilities and achieve their strategic objectives. Your responsibilities may include:
- Delivering disclosure management, ESG or GRC implementation and optimization projects across financial reporting, sustainability reporting and governance use cases;
- Translating reporting, disclosure and compliance requirements into effective systems like Workiva, and facilitating workshops to identify business requirements and design future-state reporting processes;
- Configuring and supporting solutions in collaboration with client teams and alliance partners;
- Advising clients on reporting process optimization, governance and controls, and supporting annual reporting, ESG reporting, internal controls and regulatory compliance projects;
- Helping grow the Workiva proposition through knowledge development, sales support and alliance collaboration, and coaching junior team members.
You recognize yourself in this
You are a curious and ambitious professional with an analytical mindset, who enjoys working at the intersection of finance, reporting and technology. You are comfortable engaging with clients, facilitating workshops and translating complex requirements into practical solutions.
- A completed university degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Information Management, Economics or a related field;
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in financial reporting, sustainability reporting, finance transformation, reporting technology or consulting;
- Experience with Workiva is strongly preferred; experience with other reporting and disclosure management platforms is a plus;
- Knowledge of financial reporting, ESG reporting, internal controls or regulatory compliance, and experience gathering business requirements and supporting technology implementations;
- Affinity with technology, digitalization and information management, including an interest in applying AI in your day-to-day work;
- Strong communication, workshop facilitation and stakeholder management skills, and the ability to create impactful presentations, reports and client deliverables;
- Fluency in English; Dutch is a plus.
Experience with ESG reporting, CSRD, ESEF, financial statement or regulatory reporting, process improvement, governance and controls, or platforms such as SAP, Microsoft and Workday is a strong advantage. The same goes for exposure to IPOs, carve-outs, M&A transactions or major transformation programs.
