Job Description:​

• Confirms patient identification and understanding of procedure prior to starting. Performs thorough and accurate routine and emergency EKGs as ordered by physicians.
• Presents all STAT EKGs to RN immediately after completion.
• Responds immediately to ‘Code Blue’ as required.
• Provides patient with emotional support. Performs specialized testing using computer-assisted devices, including holter/event monitor application, signal-averaged EKG, and treadmill stress tests.
• Maintains and reviews equipment, ensuring proper function and calibration, and informs biomed of malfunctions.

Education:

• High School Grad or Equiv [Required]

Work Experience:

• Previous patient care and basic clerical experience [Required]

Licenses and Certifications:

• Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]
• Certified Cardiographic Technician (CCT) [Required]

Pay Range:

$19.77 - $31.63
