Responsibilities
The Physical Therapist is responsible for delivering direct care to patients and utilizing physical agents as prescribed by a referring physician.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluates patient and creates treatment plan
- Employee is able to provide verbal and written educational material to patients when appropriate
- Recognizes the need for involvement of other disciplines
- Creates a recommended discharge plan
- Performs and records daily clinical notes
- Participates in performance improvement initiatives Completes department mandatory in-service/training/competency within specified time frame
- Participates in education of staff and students within the medical center
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical Therapy or Master's degree or higher in Physical Therapy. Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred.
- Licensed and registered PT in the State of New York.
- BLS required.
Pay Range
USD $60.94 - USD $60.94 /Hr.Qualifications
