Description

Your job is more than a job

Lead Compliance Strategy. Strengthen Accountability. Drive Meaningful Change.

Healthcare compliance is more than understanding regulations—it’s translating complex requirements into practical strategies that protect our patients, support our teams, and strengthen our organization.

In this role, you’ll provide leadership across key areas of the compliance program, partnering with facility and department leaders to identify risk, develop effective compliance work plans, strengthen policies and processes, and turn data and regulatory requirements into action. You’ll also lead and develop Compliance Specialists while serving as a trusted resource for leaders navigating complex healthcare compliance matters.

If you’re an experienced compliance professional who can move comfortably between strategy and execution, this is an opportunity to make an impact across the health system.

💼 What You’ll Do

  • Lead the development, implementation, and ongoing management of facility compliance work plans
  • Analyze compliance metrics, identify trends, perform root cause analysis, and translate findings into actionable recommendations
  • Partner with facility and department leaders to identify compliance risks and develop strategies to address them
  • Supervise, mentor, and develop assigned Compliance Specialists while providing oversight of day-to-day work and performance
  • Assess, develop, and update system compliance policies and procedures based on regulatory requirements and organizational needs
  • Help operationalize new policies by developing workflows, addressing implementation barriers, and educating stakeholders
  • Design and deliver compliance education tailored to different audiences across the organization
  • Conduct thorough, objective investigations into reported compliance concerns and develop fact-based findings and recommendations
  • Design and manage compliance auditing and monitoring programs, including tools, protocols, reporting, and corrective action
  • Lead facility-specific risk assessments and provide guidance on complex regulatory compliance matters
  • Chair Compliance Committee meetings and represent Compliance on organizational committees and workgroups
  • Partner with IT and other stakeholders to strengthen technology-enabled compliance monitoring and infrastructure

🧠 What You Bring

You understand that an effective compliance program requires more than knowing the regulations. You know how to apply them in a complex healthcare environment, communicate expectations clearly, and build partnerships that move initiatives forward.

You bring strong project management, program development, analytical, and leadership skills, along with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at every level of the organization. You’re comfortable investigating sensitive issues, interpreting data, identifying risk, developing policies, and providing thoughtful guidance when the answer isn’t always black and white.

You also bring specialized knowledge of healthcare regulatory requirements, including HIPAA and HITECH, Stark Law, Anti-Kickback Statute, False Claims Act, and Medicare Conditions of Participation.

📋 Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
  • 7+ years of experience in compliance or a related field

Preferred: Experience in healthcare compliance or health law

🎯 The Impact You’ll Make

You’ll help shape how compliance is understood and operationalized across the organization—from the policies that guide our teams to the systems that identify risk and the corrective actions that drive improvement.

Just as importantly, you’ll serve as a trusted partner to leaders and help develop the compliance professionals who support this work every day.

Bring your expertise, leadership, and problem-solving skills to a team committed to doing healthcare the right way.
