Job Title: Remote Onboarding & Healthcare Credentialing Coordinator
Job Summary:
We are seeking an organized, detail-oriented Remote Onboarding & Healthcare Credentialing Coordinator to manage high-volume onboarding and credentialing processes for healthcare personnel. Operating completely remotely, you will ensure full regulatory compliance, manage background/verification reviews, collaborate cross-functionally across HR and clinic leadership, and keep incoming healthcare staff ready for deployment under tight deadlines.
Location: 100% Remote
Key Responsibilities:
- High-Volume Credentialing & Onboarding: Manage end-to-end credentialing for healthcare staff, ensuring rapid turnaround and continuous audit readiness.
- Compliance Verification: Review and verify clinical licenses, certifications, criminal background checks, drug screenings, employment/education histories, and I-9 documentation.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner directly with Talent Acquisition, HR, Payroll, and clinic leadership to resolve onboarding roadblocks and streamline candidate start dates.
- Systems & Data Management: Utilize HRIS/ATS platforms (e.g., UKG, Phenom) to track candidate progress, archive verification documents, and audit compliance files.
- Candidate Engagement: Maintain clear, prompt communication with incoming clinical candidates to guide them through prescreening, document collection, and credentialing milestones.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Credentialing Experience: Recent healthcare credentialing or onboarding experience within the last 6 months [Required]. (Direct experience in dialysis or outpatient care settings is strongly preferred).
- Regulatory Knowledge: Deep understanding of healthcare compliance requirements, background checks, license verification, and federal/state employment documents [Required].
- Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience navigating modern HRIS/ATS systems like UKG or Phenom [Required].
- Vendor Background Tools: Experience utilizing background screening platforms such as Sterling or First Advantage [Highly Preferred].
- Core Competencies: Ability to step in with minimal training, operate independently in a fast-paced remote environment, troubleshoot credentialing delays, and maintain meticulous attention to detail.
