You will execute warehouse operations in term of service, cost, health and safety, quality, food defense, sustainability, legal requirements and policies compliance. You will also work collaboratively with key internal and external (third-party logistics vendors) business partners to ensure effective management, timely solutions and execution. You will also be responsible for activities such as inventory management (iDoc management, stock reconciliation), interfaces monitoring, track and trace, claims management, invoice management, compliance execution (HSE, quality, risk management), tenders support, third-party performance management, pallets management.
How you will contribute
You will:
- Review and analyze stock inaccuracies and guarantee accurate stock alignment between SAP and the warehouse management system based on available information among stakeholders. Analyze and verify capacity utilization, performance and KPI monitoring, and introduce corrective measures in case of missing KPIs and the need to reduce additional capacity
- Work with our service providers to ensure the delivery of our trading partners in terms of punctuality and completeness, taking into account quality and HACCP guidelines
- Monitor inbound, outbound, co-packing, warehousing and distribution activities to ensure shelf-life monitoring and management, supports reduction of write offs and constantly looks for opportunities to improve productivities
- Conduct project-related and ad hoc tasks, in particular in connection with continuous improvement projects and tenders and peak management
- Build and provide full-cost analysis (yearly budget), risks and opportunities

- Lead and optimize all warehouse operations across the CS&L network, ensuring safe, efficient and cost-effective handling of finished goods and materials while achieving agreed service, inventory accuracy, productivity and quality targets.
- The role is accountable for end-to-end warehouse execution, operational compliance, productivity improvement and 3PL/warehouse partner performance.

- Establish standard operating procedures and operating standards across all warehouses.
- Optimize warehouse layout, storage utilization and product flow.
- Ensure appropriate FIFO/FEFO and batch management.
- Ensure product availability for customer orders and distribution requirements.
- Manage warehouse congestion and proactively identify capacity risks.
- Lead peak-season and volume-readiness planning.
Inventory Management - Own warehouse inventory accuracy and integrity.
- Lead cycle-count and stock reconciliation processes.
- Reduce inventory discrepancies, damages, expiry and obsolescence.
- Ensure appropriate inventory segregation and control.
- Coordinate stock adjustments and write-off processes with Finance and relevant stakeholders.
3PL / External Warehouse Management - Establish performance governance with warehouse service providers.
- Manage SLA/KPI performance, productivity and cost.
- Lead regular operational reviews with 3PL partners.
- Drive corrective actions for service or compliance failures.
- Support commercial negotiations and productivity initiatives with Procurement.
Performance & Continuous Improvement - Own warehouse productivity KPIs.
- Drive warehouse cost-per-case / cost-per-pallet optimization.
- Identify automation and digitalization opportunities.
- Lead Lean / continuous improvement initiatives.
- Benchmark warehouse performance across sites.
- Develop and implement capacity and productivity improvement plans.
Education / Certifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
Job specific requirements:
- 5-8 years of relevant experience in Supply Chain, Warehousing, Logistics, or Operations.
- Proven experience managing 3PL and external warehouse operations.
- Experience managing multiple warehouses or a distributed warehouse network is an advantage.
- Establish standardized warehouse governance and operating routines.
- Build strong collaboration with CS, Logistics, Supply Planning, Manufacturing, Finance and Quality.
- Run the operation today while simultaneously improving it for tomorrow.
