As part of our expansion, we are seeking to recruit a Time Served Turner. The selected candidate will join a team dedicated to manufacturing high-quality components for a range of industries, including Aerospace, Utilities, and Food and Drink.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Manual Turner
• Competence in setting and operating manual machines is essential
• Proficiency in the use of hand tools and mechanical equipment
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and work independently * Producing high quality parts to close tolerances * Quality Inspection and documentation of own parts * The ability to work as part of a small team using your own initiative
• Experience in manual milling or toolmaking is advantageous
• Completion of an apprenticeship or equivalent Time Served qualification

There are opportunities for professional development, including training in CNC programming, milling, and grinding. Overtime is compensated at time and a half on weekdays and at double rate on weekends. Flexible part-time arrangements are available.

The successful candidate will enjoy benefits including

39 hours per week with overtime available

Rate of Pay: 17 - 20 per hour (experience dependant)

Normal Working Hours: 7.30am - 4pm Mon - Thurs & 7.30am - 1pm Friday.

33 days holiday per annum

Signing on Bonus of 1000 - 500 paid after 6 months & 12 months of service.
