Overview
If you're a college student, Pfizer Futures is your chance to gain real-world, impactful work experience for 10-12 weeks during the summer. This U.S. program offers undergraduate students the opportunity to grow and develop into the next Pfizer Colleague.
With opportunities across the Enterprise, Pfizer Futures interns will support their division's goals and initiatives while building relationships and learning about Pfizer.
The 2027 Pfizer Futures application portal will be open from October 5th to November 8th, 2026.
Applications and placements for this program are reviewed on a rolling basis. Interview and hiring timelines differ by division.
Responsibilities
Our People Experience (PX) team serves as Pfizer's Human Resources (HR) function and is comprised of dedicated, solution-oriented and agile colleagues who think big and challenge the status quo to create room for meaningful work. Pfizer's People Experience team is the organization's people-focused function, dedicated to attracting, developing, and supporting talent across the company. PX works to ensure employees have an outstanding experience from recruitment through career growth by fostering an inclusive culture, providing development opportunities, and creating workplace solutions that enable colleagues to do meaningful work and make a positive impact on patients' lives.
PX Business Partner: Partners with business leaders to align people strategies with organizational priorities and business goals. The team provides guidance on talent, organizational effectiveness, workforce planning, leadership development, and colleague experience.Global Talent Solutions (GTS): Attracts, develops, and retains talent across the organization through recruitment, learning, career development, and talent management programs. The team leverages technology and workforce insights to help colleagues grow and support Pfizer's future talent needs.Global Workplace Experience (GWE): Creates safe, innovative, and sustainable workplaces that enable colleagues to do their best work. The team manages facilities, real estate, security, workplace operations, and capital projects across Pfizer's global footprint.Total Rewards: Designs and delivers compensation, benefits, wellness, and recognition programs that help attract, engage, and retain top talent. The team uses market insights and data-driven strategies to provide competitive and equitable rewards for colleagues around the world.Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI): Advances a workplace where colleagues feel valued, respected, and empowered to contribute their unique perspectives. The team supports inclusive practices, diverse talent pipelines, colleague resource groups, and initiatives that promote equitable outcomes.Internal Communications & Colleague Engagement: Helps colleagues stay informed, connected, and engaged with Pfizer's strategy, culture, and priorities. The team develops communications, events, and engagement initiatives that foster collaboration, transparency, and a positive colleague experience.
Examples of Past Projects:• Purpose Blueprint Awareness Campaign — planned and executed multimedia content to help colleagues understand Pfizer's strategic path forward.• Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Intern — supported HBCU/HSI strategy, ECRG programs, and DEI reporting.• AI Coach Implementation — engaged colleagues with AI Coach through contests, panel discussions, and weekly prompts.• Candidate Experience Intern — supported hiring processes including job postings, sourcing, and interview coordination.• GWE Sustainability & Workplace Experience Intern — supported sustainability initiatives across HQ and hub sites.

Minimum Qualifications
• Be immediately authorized to work in the U.S. This Program cannot support applicants who require employer sponsored visas now or in the future.• Be an undergraduate student enrolled in a full-time university program (an accredited college / university degree program at the time of application)• Be at least 18 years of age prior to the scheduled start date• Have at least a 3.0 cumulative GPA as of the most recently completed semester. Note: For R&D roles, a minimum GPA of 3.3 is required.• Be able to commute to a Pfizer location 4+ days a week. Please note, some lab/manufacturing roles may require additional on-site days
Preferred Qualifications
• Studying applicable degree (Human Resources Management/Organizational Psychology, Human Capital, Psychology, Communications, Business)• Sophomore or Junior students preferred

The pay rate range provided is a reasonable estimate of the anticipated compensation range for this job at the time of posting. The actual pay rate will be based on a number of factors, including skills, competencies, experience, educational degree obtained, location and/or being pursued and other job-related factors permitted by law.
In addition, this role will be eligible for overtime pay, in accordance with federal and state requirements.
Pay Rate Range: $26/hr to $29/hr
