Project Specialist (Local Leads)

SAFETY/SECURITY SENSITIVE DESIGNATION: Under Review

JOB OBJECTIVE: To support the Local Leads initiative by providing day-to-day operational, administrative, and early childhood program support for providers, families, and children in the City of Little Rock; assists with CLASS-related processes, ensures smooth coordination of materials and communications, and contributes to community and provider engagement efforts.

These knowledge, skills, and abilities are usually, although not always, acquired through completion of an Associate’s degree in Early childhood education or a related field; and   one (1) to three (3) years of experience in early childhood programs, family engagement, resource coordination or a related field; one year of computer experience.  Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:  
Must obtain the Classroom Assessment Scoring System (CLASS) Infant/Toddler and preschool certification within one (1) year of employment and maintain certification for the duration of employment in this position.
Must possess a valid Arkansas Class D (Non-Commercial Vehicle) Driver’s License before employment and maintain licensure for the duration of employment in this position.
Must be available to work evenings as required.
