Position Summary
We are a fast-paced, high-standard welding and fabrication shop seeking an experienced Welding Fabricator who takes pride in quality workmanship, works efficiently, and understands the importance of safety, reliability, and teamwork. We are looking for professionals who can work independently, maintain a strong attention to detail, and consistently produce high-quality work in a deadline-driven environment.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and weld symbols.
- Perform MIG and Stick welding on steel and aluminum materials.
- Fabricate and fit custom components accurately and efficiently.
- Operate fabrication equipment, including saws, grinders, presses, ironworkers, and plasma cutting equipment.
- Measure, cut, and assemble materials according to specifications and blueprint requirements.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Inspect completed welds and fabricated assemblies to ensure quality standards are met.
- Work independently and collaboratively with team members to meet production deadlines.
- Assist with field installations, service work, and repairs as needed.
- Follow all company safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Work Environment & Physical Demands:
- Frequently stand, walk, bend, kneel and reach throughout the workday.
- Frequently lifts or moves objects weighing 50 pounds or more.
- Use hands and arms continuously to operate tools and fabrication equipment.
- Ability to wear required PPE, including safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, and steel-toed footwear.
- Ability to work in varying temperatures and fabrication shop conditions. Work may occasionally be performed outdoors or at customer job sites.

Requirements
- Two (2) or more years of verifiable welding and fabrication experience preferred.
- Strong MIG and Stick welding skills required.
- Ability to successfully pass an in-house welding and fabrication test.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and shop drawings.
- Experience working with structural steel, plate, tubing, and custom fabrication projects.
- Experience operating fabrication equipment, including saws, grinders, torches, ironworkers, press brakes, shears, overhead cranes, and forklifts.
- Ability to accurately read a tape measure and perform measurements involving fractions.
- Strong fit-up, layout, and fabrication skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to safely operate shop tools and equipment and follow established safety procedures.
- Ability to frequently lift, carry, push, and/or pull materials weighing up to 50 pounds; heavier loads may require team lifting or mechanical assistance.
- Ability to work in a fabrication shop environment, including exposure to noise, dust, heat, and other industrial conditions.
- Strong work ethic, dependability, and professional attitude.
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record, if driving is required as part of the position.
- Welding certifications are a plus, including AWS D1.1, FCAW, GMAW, or equivalent certifications.
- Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen.
