Position Summary
The Commercial Loan Coordinator III provides advanced-level coordination, analysis, and operational support for commercial lending activities. This position works closely with Commercial Loan Officers, Portfolio Managers, customers, and internal partners to support loan origination, portfolio management, Large Borrower Reviews (LBR), and customer service activities. The role requires independent decision-making, strong organizational skills, and direct customer interaction while ensuring compliance with Bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent required, preferably with a business curriculum emphasis
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
Experience
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in a similar role required for this level
Skills & Knowledge
- Strong reading, writing, grammar, and mathematical skills
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficient keyboarding and computer skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other applicable software programs
- Working knowledge of commercial banking products and services
- Ability to operate office equipment and banking systems
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- Ability to meet the requirements and perform the duties of a Pennsylvania Notary

Essential Responsibilities
Commercial Loan Operations
- Coordinate and support commercial loan origination and servicing activities
- Prepare, print, scan, and maintain loan documentation packages
- Assist lenders with loan applications, Taxpayer Consent Forms, Beneficial Ownership Certifications, and related workflow requirements
- Maintain accurate information within the commercial loan origination system to ensure data integrity
- Generate reports and support system-related processes
- Learn and maintain proficiency in bank software applications and web-based systems
Portfolio and Credit Support
- Independently review borrower financial information and third-party reports
- Support Portfolio Managers and Commercial Loan Officers with follow-up and resolution of outstanding items
- Serve as backup support for Portfolio Management activities, including GLOC and construction draws
- Coordinate and manage Large Borrower Review (LBR) processes, including checklist development, maintenance, and follow-up activities
Client Service & Relationship Support
- Serve as a primary liaison between customers, regional staff, and Commercial Loan Officers
- Respond to customer inquiries and provide exceptional customer service
- Place and receive customer calls regarding loan accounts, documentation requests, payoff statements, collateral releases, address changes, and other account-related matters
- Maintain awareness of opportunities to deepen customer relationships during interactions
- Coordinate collection of confidential financial information from clients and ensure proper filing and record maintenance
Loan Origination Coordination
- Support all phases of the commercial loan origination process
- Coordinate customer due diligence activities, including:
- Beneficial Ownership requirements
- Business Account Onboarding Questionnaires
- Third-party searches
- Settlement services
- Insurance documentation
- Commercial document preparation
- Loan servicing coordination
- Work collaboratively with internal and external service providers to facilitate loan transactions
Administrative Support
- Create correspondence, reports, forms, spreadsheets, and other business documents
- Manage incoming and outgoing communications
- Greet and assist visitors
- Maintain electronic records and departmental files
- Complete assigned administrative and shared departmental duties
- Compile and distribute information and reports as requested by management
Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure compliance with all Bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
- Support the Bank's risk management and safety and soundness initiatives
- Adhere to applicable regulations, including:
- Community Reinvestment Act (CRA)
- Equal Credit Opportunity Act (ECOA)
- Other applicable banking regulations
- Promote and maintain a workplace free from harassment and unlawful discrimination
Working Conditions
