Electrical Technical Lead Engineer

There is an opening for the role of Electrical Engineering Technical Lead Engineer. This position is based out of Bangalore, directly reporting to the leader of WETS (Wet Equipment Technology Solutions) Electrical Engineering team of LIGHT. This individual shall collaborate with engineers in India, Europe and United States and on new product development of WETS product lines.

Join Lam as an Electrical Engineer and you'll be at the forefront, designing and developing electronic solutions for advanced applications. Your role involves designing and analyzing equipment, conducting experimental tests, evaluating results to create reliable cutting-edge solutions.

## Primary Responsibilities:

• * Develop Functional Requirement Specifications for various Electro-Mechanical systems.
• Selection of Electrical & Electronics OEM components and materials for Power distribution, I/O Controllers, Sensors, Cables, PCBs etc.
• Create and Release system level Electrical engineering drawings & bill of materials using Engineering Change Management process.
• Work on Electrical/Electronic engineering CAD tools for circuit design & simulations.
• Perform various circuit analyses like De-rating & Stress analysis, Power analysis & Logic compatibility analysis etc.
• Define project schedule, work breakdown structure and milestones to drive concept to production lifecycle.
• Study and recommend corrective/ permanent solutions for technical challenges/new products.
• Define test procedures, and participate in assembly, build and test verification
• Well versed with Part life cycle management, Obsolescence management activities.
• Conduct and drive Design reviews to get buy-in from all cross functional teams.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers.

## Mandatory skills and experience required to perform the job:

• * Proficient in system level understanding of Electro-Mechanical Sub-systems (Semi-conductor/Automotive/Aerospace), Control systems and/or Industrial Automation.
• Proficient in Electrical/Electronic Circuit concept design & development with safety interlocks & various circuit analyses. (Circuit analyses include De-rating & Stress analysis, Power analysis & Logic compatibility analysis etc.)
• Demonstrated Electrical/Electronic OEM components, cable and harness design strategy – segregation of power, signal, communication, safety along with shielding, grounding, noise immunity philosophy
• Expert level knowledge of Engineering change management & problem-solving skills, experienced with FMEAs
• Must have worked on any one of electrical engineering CAD tools like PCAD, ORCAD, ZUKEN, Cadence or equivalent CAD packages for circuit design & simulation.
• Familiar with standards like - UL 508, IEC 60947, SEMI S22, NFPA79.

## Eligibility Criteria:

• * * Bachelors in Electrical/Electronics Engineering with a minimum 8 exp. or
• Masters in Electrical Engineering with a minimum 6 Yrs Exp.

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. ‘On-site Flex’ you’ll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. ‘Virtual Flex’ you’ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
