Recruiting Solutions Project Manager, U.S. Bancorp India

 

The Recruiting Solutions Project Manager will support the U.S. Bancorp India Global Capability Center recruiting organization by enabling effective, compliant, and scalable recruiting operations across India. This position will play a central role in preparing and supporting recruiters through training, process and technology enhancements, change management, communications, risk and compliance coordination, and knowledge base management.

The Recruiting Solutions Project Manager will partner with the India recruiting team, Global Enterprise Recruiting Solutions team, HR Product and Engineering, Legal, Risk, and other key stakeholders to ensure recruiting processes and technology meet local business requirements, support a consistent recruiter and candidate experience, and are successfully adopted by the recruiting organization.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support recruiting operations, process, training, and technology initiatives for the U.S. Bancorp India GCC recruiting organization.
  • Develop and deliver recruiter training, tools, job aids, and other enablement resources that strengthen recruiter readiness, process adherence, and operational consistency.
  • Assess recruiter training needs and translate new or changing processes, policies, and technology capabilities into practical learning materials and communications.
  • Partner with HR Product and Engineering teams to identify, document, prioritize, and track recruiting product enhancement requests based on India business and recruiter needs.
  • Coordinate and participate in user acceptance testing and post-implementation validation and hyper care for recruiting tools and system changes.
  • Identify technology defects, process gaps, and user experience issues, document findings and partner with product team and vendors through resolution.
  • Partner with Legal, Risk, Compliance, and other subject matter experts to ensure India recruiting processes, procedures, communications, and technology configurations align with applicable laws, regulatory expectations, company policies, and established controls.
  • Develop and deliver appropriate change management, communication, training, and adoption plans in response to recruiting process, policy, and technology changes
  • Monitor adoption of new recruiting processes and tools, gather feedback from users, identify barriers, and recommend actions to strengthen adoption and effectiveness.
  • Maintain India recruiting knowledge base content and ensure materials remain accurate, current, accessible, and aligned with global standards and local requirements.
  • Serve as a resource for India recruiters and recruiting leaders by addressing questions, identifying appropriate referrals, and supporting resolution of complex process and technology issues.
  • Leverage recruiter feedback, operational data, testing results, and adoption insights to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Build strong partnerships across India recruiting, Global Enterprise Recruiting, HR Product and Engineering, Legal, Risk, and other cross-functional teams to drive alignment and successful delivery in a matrixed environment.
  • Act as a recruiting operations and enablement subject matter expert by maintaining awareness of evolving business needs, India recruiting practices, technology capabilities, and industry trends.

 

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience.
  • Five years of experience in recruiting operations, recruiting, change management, HR technology, learning and development, or a related field.

 

Preferred Skills/Experience

  • Demonstrated experience supporting recruiting operations, recruiter enablement, HR technology, process improvement, or large-scale organizational change.
  • Experience developing and facilitating recruiter training, process education, job aids, presentations, and other enablement materials.
  • Knowledge of recruiting processes and technology, preferably including Workday Recruiting, Phenom, or comparable applicant tracking and candidate relationship management platforms.
  • Experience gathering and documenting business requirements, enhancement requests, use cases, testing scenarios, and acceptance criteria.
  • Experience supporting user acceptance testing, defect documentation, issue resolution, and implementation of HR or recruiting technology.
  • Understanding of India recruitment practices, employment-related compliance requirements, and the importance of partnering with Legal and Risk to translate requirements into practical recruiting procedures.
  • Experience developing communications and change management plans that support successful adoption of new processes, policies, and technology.
  • Strong technical writing and process documentation skills, including the ability to create clear knowledge articles, standard operating procedures, process guides, and user-facing instructions.
  • Ability to synthesize complex policy, legal, risk, process, and technology information into clear and actionable guidance for recruiters.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives, priorities, stakeholders, and deadlines.
  • Innovative, resourceful, solutions-oriented, and committed to identifying opportunities to improve recruiting processes, workflows, user experience, and operational efficiency.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, including the ability to influence without authority and work effectively across global and cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, presentation skills, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively across India and U.S. time zones when collaboration with global stakeholders is required.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; working knowledge of recruiting reporting, metrics, and analytics is preferred.
